Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a full time Sales Ledger Controller based at our Head Office in Ellington, Cambridgeshire. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, timely invoicing, and efficient revenue collection.,
- Oversee new account financial onboarding, ensuring accurate master data and trading terms.
- Regularly raise sales ledger invoices, email them promptly, and create pre-invoicing reports as needed.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing ad hoc invoices and credit notes.
- Manage invoice discounting facility, reconcile bank accounts and investiagte ledgers.
- Proactively manage credit control for a portfolio of customers ensuring payments align with agreed terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related queries.
- Challenge existing systems and processes for enhanced efficiency, service and fraud risk reduction.
Previous Experience: Within a finance team with a working knowledge on recording and reporting financial transactions. Ideally a role in a B2B industry. - Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills when speaking with colleagues and customers. Must be fluent in English due to the nature of the role.
- Team-Player: Ability to work well within a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and comfortable using multiple IT systems.
- Attention to Detail: Has a keen eye for detail and can work well under pressure.
- Recognised Credit Control or Accountancy Qualification.
- Familar with using Microsoft Navision.
- Previous experience working within a similar role, business and / or industry.
