Full Job Description

Your responsibility as a data analyst will be the performance, integrity, and security of data within the Reapp Insights database primarily and others as defined. Requiring involvement in the planning and maintenance of the database(s), as well as in pre-emptive troubleshooting any identified issues on behalf of users both internal & external.

There will potentially be a requirement to visit stores on a one-off basis to take photographs as part of the Image Recognition development needs and be part of this project group.

We see the role as a development role for the right candidate and training will be provided across both the REAPP software system and IR software as well as having an opportunity longer term to work with customers should there be that ambition.

Responsibilities of the role:

Key Areas:

  • To work with key stakeholders throughout the company to assist with maintaining and improve the quality of data interface between Reapp, Drive (Allocate) & various data collection processes.

  • Ensuring daily or weekly data loads are retrieved, loaded and complete without gaps in line with the data strategy.

  • Source, load & maintenance of promotional & NPD activity by brand to ensure and refine the integrity of LSV alerts and facilitate existing Power BI dashboards for selling opportunities.

  • To assist with the preparation of process and procedure documentation, including best practice guides for sales and external use.

  • Work with client team & brands to ensure continuity of access to EPOS systems facilitating consistent granular day(weekly)/store/sku data.

  • Ensure issues are escalated in an appropriate and timely manner.

  • Informing end users of changes in databases and support training needs as required.

  • Update & maintain data interface between Drive (Allocate) & Reapp for stores, formats, products, product sizes, case packs (for Sainsbury's) categories & sub-categories.

  • Update specific client led differences of data, such as Flare EAN's and conversion to case sales.

  • Support introduction of 'third-party' and Big Data sources as required.

    Power Bi - medium level.
