Full Job Description

The post of Quality Governance and Risk Coordinator will work with the WTWA Quality Governance and Risk Team, and the Clinical divisions, and have responsibility for the co-ordination of clinical governance activity, directly supporting divisional teams and services.

You will support the promotion and facilitation of the development of effective quality governance, risk and assurance within clinical divisions, including the implementing and monitoring of incident management process, and providing support to the divisions with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the corporate Clinical Governance agenda.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about improving services for our patients and staff, and will have the ability to adapt and work within our supportive multi-disciplinary team. With a proven track record in working across multi-disciplinary teams, building relationships and working effectively with others, the role will provide support and guidance to the divisional teams, in conjunction with the WTWA Quality Governance Managers., This involves the promotion and facilitation of the development of effective clinical governance, risk and assurance across the clinical divisions. This also includes the implementing and monitoring the incident management process, and providing support to the division with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the corporate Clinical Governance agenda.

You will have previous experience of clinical governance, and an ability to work flexibly and responsively to the needs of the service and the wider hospital. The role will involve working closely with the Divisional Leadership Teams, to achieve the WTWA clinical governance objectives for Achieving Excellence.
