Personal assistant required for young person

Our client is looking for a personal assistant for her daughter, who needs support for complex behavioural needs as well as some physical health conditions. There will also be a degree of intimate care needed to assist with personal hygiene.
The role will consist of supporting the client's daughter in college holidays on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with hours to be agreed. Own transport is preferred.
Holiday cover is also needed for the young person's existing PA. These hours are from 4pm to 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in term time at the client's home, with availability also preferred 10am - 4pm on Fridays in term time. Occasional evening hours also available.
The role will include activities and tasks to provide routine, minimise anxiety and improve social skills. Activities will include cooking, crafts, visits to shops, the library, museum etc, and support with daily living such as helping the young person organise herself and her belongings, and looking after the family's pet chickens. As some personal care will be needed, it is essential that the client and their daughter feel happy and confident around the candidate.
The successful candidate will need to work to maintain positive behaviour, have lots of energy to initiate tasks and activities to keep our client's daughter entertained, use redirection skills and maintain a reliable routine. The successful candidate will also need to ensure supervision is provided at all times.
