Junior Linux / Dev-Ops Engineer

We are currently seeking a Junior Linux Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Level Linux Engineer, PHP Development, and IT Operations team to support and enhance our Linux infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a collaborative environment.,

• Assist in administering and maintaining Linux systems, ensuring optimum performance.


• Provide operational support to our PHP development team.


• Support configuration management using Ansible.


• Help utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).


• Assist in developing and implementing Docker containerization.


• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Linux servers and associated technologies under supervision.


• Participate in system enhancements and suggest improvements.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and recommend technical solutions.


• Help develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.


• Assist in ensuring system security measures are aligned with company policies and standards.
  
  1-2 years of experience in Linux system administration or relevant internship experience.


• Basic knowledge of Ansible and Jenkins.


• Familiarity with Docker containerization.


• Understanding of Linux distributions such as Debian, Ubuntu.


• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PHP.


• Eagerness to learn and develop troubleshooting skills.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.
