Full Job Description
- Use creativity to solve problems through producing graphic design work.
- Work with relevant studio members to ensure full understanding of project and client requirements.
- Be able to prioritise their workload and projects dependent on urgency and deadlines.
- Liaise with clients in a professional and helpful manner and responding to any queries.
- Be confident in providing creative suggestions based on the project requirements.
- Attend client meetings and present completed work when required.
- Manage assigned work in terms of the final product, with attention given to consistency, management of deadlines, accuracy and quality. Check any concerns with the internal studio before providing to client.
- Provide updates on all assigned work, budgets, deadlines and related issues to the Studio Manager.
- Ensure effective and full-documented handover occurs whenever work is transferred for any reason.
- Produce internal marketing materials to help further grow brand awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, emerging trends, and technological advancements.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field - Portfolio of work displaying strong design skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Experience with MS Office software suite
- Apple Mac proficient
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography and design
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Time management skills to balance workload and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of designing and developing websites (training is provided)
- Understanding of brand guidelines
- Drive to progress and learn
- Knowledge of animation
- Knowledge of video editing
- Experience working with WordPress, Bachelor's (preferred), Graphic design: 2 years (preferred)
Identity Creative are looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Saffron Walden., As Identity Creative continues to grow and progress we are in search of a Junior Graphic Designer to play a key role in our studio team. This role will involve working on an array of design projects in both print and digital for existing and new clients. The successful candidate will work alongside our Studio Manager and Graphic Designer to produce high quality final pieces. Hands-on training will be provided and on-going support will continue with the existing studio team. This role is ideal for a Junior Graphic Designer taking their first steps into a creative industry where they will grow their knowledge within a range of design disciplines including, but not limited to, print, digital, video and website design.
