Full Job Description

This role is based at our Head Office in Diss, where you will work three days a week on site and have the option to work two days a week from home.

The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day line management, advice and support to the HR Administration team, ensuring compliance is adhered to across all processes.,

  • Provide direction and robust performance management to the HR Administration team on a day to day basis

  • Undertake and/or ensure regular training and shared learning sessions are completed, and identify any development opportunities for the team

  • Ensure induction, training plans and associated HR administration documents are in place and are regularly reviewed.

  • Regularly communicate with the business on HR processes, ensuring a wide range of HR and payroll related information is received accurately and on time for the team to action

  • Ensure all HR administration processes across the team are completed to the required standards and within prescribed deadlines

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with all HR colleagues and key stakeholders throughout the company.

  • Deal with complex queries that come into the relevant HR mailboxes or phone lines on a daily basis.

  • Be accountable for all compliance across the team, ensuring all documentation is accurate and consistently produced to a high standard in order to maintain accurate records

  • Ensure that governance is followed, making recommendations for any required changes or improvements as necessary.

  • Contribute, monitor and report on HR Administration SLA's and KPI's.

  • Raise any complaints, repeated problems or blockages around the HR service team to the HR Service Manager

  • Support the HR Service Manager on a range of projects including system implementation, and process reviews as and when required

  • Administer the new starter process, a range of employee amendments and the leavers process as required

    Two years' experience working in a HR environment

  • Experience in leading a target driven/high performing team

  • Evidence of process improvement

  • Ability to organise and manage time effectively, prioritising own workload to meet deadlines

  • A professional, confident and pleasant manner with a strong work ethic

  • Pro-active and efficient

  • Competent in adhering to GDPR

  • Competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Experience of working with HR Systems and associated software
