Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team and progress your career! As you will be working towards your Business Admin qualification, you will be able to develop your knowledge of how a business works while getting experience in different areas of the organisation. Duties include ensure all Hiredesk paperwork is filed correctly.,

  • Answer calls & emails from customers looking to hire, and processing hires through Syrinx.

  • Ensure all Hiredesk paperwork is filed correctly.

  • Check availability of plant and update internal systems with the status of the machines.

  • Liaise with workshops to ensure the correct equipment is ready and delivered at the right times.

  • Arrange transport for delivery & collection of plant hire.

  • Manage any Hiredesk related queries.

  • Ensure relevant spreadsheets and maintenance documents are updated daily/weekly.

  • Ensure all quotes are accurately produced for each individual hire.

  • Review of contracts pre-month end to ensure accuracy.

  • Following up with customers on damages and items not returned.

  • Any other matters as requested by management.

  • Support the Workshop manager with ordering of stock.

  • Support General Manager with projects and other ad-hock tasks.


  • The training you will be getting

    You will be working towards your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification (an industry recognised Qualification) which is delivered via monthly 2-3-hour lessons with your assigned Trainer Assessor (TA) via teams. Throughout the month, you will complete self-led study which will include assignments, worksheets, projects, etc. and blended learning and development activities/training with your manager and shadowing team members. All learning will be completed in your workplace and during your working hours. Units that you will be studying include personal development, the organisation & policies, legislation & regulation, role fundamentals, stakeholders, and business fundamentals & processes.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Team working, Positive attitude, Strong work ethic, Confident and friendly, Time management, Prioritisation, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) Essential, INTERESTED?
