Head Chef / Kitchen Manager

Prepare ingredients for menu items following our specs
- Cook and plate menu items according with the Tender Cow style

- Ensure a positive, calm and creative atmosphere in the kitchen
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Follow health and safety policy

- Manage GP and stock in order to hit costs (and recieve bonuses!)
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our kitchen team in Manchester. You will be working in an open facing kitchen in the busy and beautiful Mackie Mayor. As your will be joining our management team you will be responsible for high quality prep, creating a positive can do attitude with the team, getting stuck into busy fast pace services, ensuring food safety standards, kitchen operations, working with executive chef on menu design. You should have good style and an eye for detail as well as an ambition for growth and passion for local ingredients., Positive mindset and willingness to learn and grow in a forward thinking Company
- Kitchen experience is necessary
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team,

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year,
