Freelance Management Accountant

We are looking for a freelance management accountant to assist our financial controller in preparing quarterly management accounts for presentation to the board, as well as handling various financial tasks such as cash flow forecasting, sales reporting, and financial analysis. • Assist the financial controller in preparing quarterly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.


• Conduct cash flow forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.


• Generate sales reports and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.


• Collaborate with other team members to gather necessary financial information and ensure consistency across reports.


• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by the management team.


• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
  
  Proven experience as a management accountant or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and accounting software Xero.


• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.


• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.


• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.


• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field., Bachelor's (preferred), accounting: 4 years (preferred)
