Full Job Description

This role requires the candidate to have a relevant Early Years/SEND Level 3 or above qualification, be able to demonstrate their expertise in SEND within the early years and be able to lead the coordination of and contribute to the multi-agency early years forum for children identified with early SEND concerns. As the lead practitioner you will organise the early years forum meetings alongside the dedicated business support officer triaging referrals, checking the quality of information received and allocating children to meeting agendas following the priority criteria. You will liaise closely with early years settings, parents and panel members to ensure panel meetings are well organised and well informed with good quality information and communication between the early year's forum panel members and key stakeholders is timely and effective. You will also be the early years representative at SEND panel meetings bringing your early years SEND expertise to statutory
panel discussions and facilitating an effective step up and down process between the early year's forum and panel as appropriate.
