Full Job Description

  • Driving licence and use of own car is essential.


  • you will be required to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.


  • At Charter House resource centre we provide day care, home care and respite care for adults with learning disabilities, the elderly and those living with dementia, we believe that the service user is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive on improving the lives of our service users, whilst promoting independence, and treating everyone as an individual with dignity and respect at all times.

    Main duties include: Supporting vulnerable people in their own homes, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, light domestic duties and supporting service users to access the community. we also provide respite care this includes overnight stays at the service users home, providing daily care needs and supporting the service user to access the community to enjoy activities, The ideal candidate will be motivated with good people skills, the ability to work alone, or as part of a team, and be caring and compassionate with a willingness to learn.

    Training will be provided in all aspects of the role. Charter House will support and encourage employees to further their personal development.

    You may also be required to provide transport to our service users, driving one of our mini buses, full details will be given in the interview process.
