Bookkeeper - French speaking

Based at our global Headquarters, we are now seeking a bookkeeper to oversee the bookkeeping duties such as sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation and credit control.

Fluency in French is a requirement for this role.

Accounts Payable / Receivable

• Ensure that the AA functions in AP and AR are completed and comply with internal policies


• Review AP and AR ledger with TBA and AA monthly


• Monthly reconciliation of all supplier statements and Inter Group accounts


• Investigate and decide action on all overdue accounts


Balance Sheet Control

• Post all necessary journals as needed to ensure all postings are completed on time


• Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and stock variances


• Ensure that TVA / Ecotax accounts are reconciled and agree to submissions to the TVA office.


• Salary and wage control accounts to be cleared on a monthly basis.


Reporting

• Prepare year end workings as required by Group and Origa for audit


• Prepare management accounts


• Assist in preparing costings, breakeven analysis, forecasts, budgets, other ad hoc reports


• Ensure that all documents are securely and completely retained for audit and other formal requirements
  
  Proven experience in a similar role with excellent accounting technical knowledge


• Recent exposure to Group accounting


• Motivated, able to use initiative and willing to learn.


• Highly accurate, attentive to detail and a desire to finish tasks completely


• Good interpersonal skills


• Advanced analytical skills.


• Strong, cohesive team spirit


• Good understanding of day to day TVA requirements


• Fluency in technical French


• Excellent Computer skills - previous use of SAP is highly desirable, Accounting: 2 years (preferred)


• bookkeeping: 4 years (preferred)
