Full Job Description

As a Swim Manager at Isleworth, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our swim school, swimming lessons, and swim school programming, managing the swimming teachers; as well as acting as duty manager for the leisure centre. Isleworth Leisure Centre has 2 swimming pools and one of the largest swim schools in the area. The successful Swim Manager will working collaboratively with other departments across the business to maximise the swim school and ensure we are offering an innovative programme of activities that support and give back to the local community, that are delivered on time and within budget, Day-to-day management of swimming teachers Carrying out the deputy manager role when on duty management shifts. Achieve centre financial targets and KPIs, by maximizing Swim School occupancy Assisting with school swimming booking processes Track, measure and report on the effectiveness of aquatic programmes Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends effecting wet side, making appropriate recommendations for strategic and tactical development. Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system.

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for swimming and the ability to influence and motivate staff. You will have experience working in wet operations ideally and be now looking to move into a senior or management position. Excellent communication skills and experience of leading a team in your career is also essential. Employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & reference checks.,

  • Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

  • First Aid at Work Certificate

  • Pool Plant Operation Qualification
