Support Worker (Nights)

We are recruiting part-time (30hrs), waking nights Scheme Support Officers to join our accommodation-based support service in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent.

We support a range of individuals and families who have experienced homelessness and have varying needs, such as, mental health issues, substance misuse issues and learning difficulties.

You will support the individuals to develop independent living skills to enable them to move onto independent sustainable accommodation.

Your duties will include:

• Connecting to our 22 clients and their families.


• Considerate responses to incidents with the support of an on-call Manager.


• Capturing conversations and updating records.


• Providing our clients with a positive environment to live.


• Completing reasonable requests from the scheme's Manager and Lead Project Workers.
