Full Job Description

Skyler Services provides provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25. Our support workers work on shift with young people to promote their independent living skills as well as life skills. You will work alongside a team of support workers who all aim to achieve the same outcomes for young people accessing our provision.,

  • You will work 12 hour shifts, 10am to 10pm or 10pm to 10am. Some night shifts are 'sleep-in' others are 'waking night'

    Must have interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well with young people

  • Display a non-judgmental approach to working with vulnerable service users and maintain professional boundaries

  • Undertaking paperwork in a timely manner to evidence the support of the service users to include key work sessions

  • Level 2 needed in Health and Social Care or an equivalent., GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

    Night Shift sleep set rate from 12am to 8am is £40.

  • You will be scheduled on the rota across Monday to Sunday, this is usually 3 days on shift and 4 days off shift for full-time hours

  • You must be able to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday including public and bank holidays. We operate a rota system to distribute shifts across the team.
