Stores Operative - Part- Time / Twilight Shift

We are looking to recruit a new Stores person, who will work with the Stores Manager & Stores Team Leader. The role is onsite in Bristol, Monday to Thursday 4pm - 9pm. The position is a 20 hours per week role with a salary of £11.50 per hour.

What are we looking for?

• A person who can communicate clearly is comfortable communicating with Senior Managers


• A person who currently holds a counterbalance FLT licence or someone who aspires to be trained


Skills

• Stores keeping experience


• Keep items in the correct place


• Checking in deliveries and checking for any damage


Main Specifics of Job Role

• Assist in the flow of materials to the shop floor by


• Accurate and detailed picking of parts and placing in designated area/receptacle


• Taking parts and consumables to the designated fitting area


• To carry out physical stock counting to ensure stock levels are maintained.


• To assist with quarterly stock takes as requested by your Team Leader


• Ensure high standard of housekeeping in storage areas


• Provision of counter service to Fitters


• Ensure high value items are stored securely


• Ensure all parts/products are available to fitters


• Responsibility for the maintenance of quarantine area and all returns working with your Team Leader.


• Safe loading of racks and racking equipment


• All yard housekeeping


• Safe operation of vehicle movements on site


• Coordination of deliveries to TGS


Interviews

Interviews will take place onsite in Bristol, between the hours of 1pm-4pm, with the Stores Manager and Stores Team Leader.
