Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SOP Trainer to join our team. The SOP Trainer is responsible for ensuring that employees understand and follow standard operating procedures. You will play a crucial role in maintaining consistency, efficiency, and compliance with established processes and ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary tools and expertise to excel in their roles.

Duties:

- · Developing and updating SOPs in alignment with organizational goals.

· Training and supervising staff on standard procedures.

· Monitoring compliance and performance related to SOPs.

· Creating training plans

· Carrying out competency assessments

· Booking external training (e.g. first aid, fire warden)

· Looking ahead - removing paper, moving to e-learning platform

· Retraining where non-conformances have arisen (CCTV)

· Training, assessing and coaching internal auditors

· Creating and delivering Toolbox Talks

· Creating and maintaining the training matrix

Essential

· Ability to deliver against timescales

· Ability to work with a diverse range of people and can demonstrate a commitment to equality

· Resilient, self starter with good attention to detail

· Sound planning and organisational capabilities

· Enthusiastic, positive and effective communicator

· Dynamic approach to work with evidence of previous success in an environment that demands working at pace.

· Flexibility in working hours is required.

· Computer literate and competent in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Desirable

· Experience of writing SOP's and Training Matrices

· Recognised training qualification

· Understanding of coaching and mentoring techniques

· Understanding of modern training tools & techniques

· Experience gained within a busy training function ideally within a manufacturing environment.
