Social Media Marketing Executive

Working under the Marketing Manager for Optident within an established team, the social media coordinator will be responsible for boosting our social media presence by creating and executing digital marketing strategies to inform, advertise, and attract interest to exclusive products. They will handle the organisation's social media accounts, monitoring comments, managing DM's, passing leads internally and interacting with the relevant community.
In this role, they will produce, review, and publish content based on competitive research on industry trends as well as be expected to maintain strict adherence with established marketing guidelines to ensure an accurate online representation of the company. Success in this role will be demonstrated by generating relevant and engaging social media posts to expand brand awareness, internet traffic, and sales.

We are looking for someone with interest in digital marketing, Facebook, Instagram with the ability to create highly engaging content. This person must be able to generate ideas and opportunities, be self-motivated and able to work with others to help drive urgency and work to tight deadlines. Proactive, assertive, and able to work with in a team. A good communicator with a collaborative approach.

• Understanding the company's KPIs and defining them specifically for social media


• Monitoring all social media content ( Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)


• Tracking the performance of campaigns


• Keeping up with technologies used in social media


• Using social media marketing tools (Meta Ads)


• Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media



• Working with HubSpot platform to schedule social media posts


• Imaginative content creation, fact checking and research, including the ability to content write & proofread.


• Ability to analyse campaigns and report on ROI


• Knowledge of CANVA is advantageous but not essential.


• Knowledge of HubSpot is advantageous but not essential.


• Work to company set KPIS, and team targets.
