Full Job Description

The Senior Programme Manager, as a key member of the Product function, holds a critical position responsible for overseeing and managing software product development projects throughout their lifecycle. This role involves collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders across the organisation, actively contributing to the achievement of strategic business objectives.,

  • You'll be leading the successful delivery of multiple cross-functional product development initiatives within the Matillion ecosystem, engaging stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, Customer Success, and IT.

  • Developing comprehensive project blueprints, you also coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan, align, and track development, release, go-to-market, and enablement activities.

  • You will support and drive the Matillion Agile development methodology, facilitating relevant ceremonies and ensuring adherence to agile practices, while also identifying, assessing, and managing project dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments to ensure project success.

  • By monitoring and reporting on project performance and health to stakeholders, you will maintain robust project management processes, including project planning, quality control, change management, and risk mitigation.

  • You will also provide effective leadership and support to project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project delivery excellence.

    We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where employees work 2 days a week in the Manchester office. Our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together. The rest of the week you are welcome to work from the office, or remotely if you'd prefer., Strong project management experience, ideally in software development, with an ability to demonstrate successful project delivery and proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Strong persuasion and influencing skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders, coupled with a genuine passion for emerging technologies, including AI, and their transformative applications in the workplace.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, including experience in managing organisational transformation projects, and using project management tools such as Jira and Asana.

  • Proven ability to manage and align cross-functional stakeholders to achieve strategic business outcomes, demonstrating strong planning, management, and organisational abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor communications to various stakeholders, and demonstrated credibility and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders., At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £65,000 - £84,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
