Play Worker

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Play Workers during school holidays. As a Play Worker at Inspire Holiday Clubs, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children with SEN. You will have the opportunity to engage with children on a one-on-one basis or in group activities, helping them develop essential skills such as motor coordination, resilience, communication, and social interaction.,

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children with SEN, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.


• Plan and facilitate a variety of play-based activities that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child.


• Support children in developing key skills, including motor skills, social skills, emotional regulation, and communication abilities.


• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn.


• Maintain accurate records of children's behavior, and any significant observations, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.


• Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during the holiday club sessions.
  
  Genuine passion for working with children with SEN and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.


• Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable but not essential.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.


• Patience, empathy, and resilience to handle challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the changing needs and dynamics of the holiday club environment.


• Flexibility to work during school holidays, as per the holiday club schedule.
