Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on a varied role that includes supporting the Parts Department with the maintenance of approximately £10 million of parts stocked at our UK Warehouse as well as contributing to a department turnover of over £40 million each year. This role will cover inventory maintenance and planning, sales order processing, customs declaration handling and claims management with a target of maintaining first class customer service.,

  • You will be responsible for processing quantity related claims placed by dealers and for our deliveries, responding in a timely manner and following up with the warehouse or the claims team in Hamm.

  • Generate a regular parts returns flow back to the central warehouse, working closely with the team in the office, the warehouse at Saxham, Logistics providers and with colleagues in Hamm, Germany, to administrate relevant paperwork, organise and report accurately on what is needing to be returned, and process the relevant customs documents, driving the process through from the beginning to the end.

  • When needed, raise orders for stock and dealer commitments and support with the export of goods to Ireland.

  • Support with ordering our OEM and downstream stock when needed.

    Have experience of SAP and good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.

  • Be a great communicator showing professionalism in all forms of communication.

  • Work well under pressure, to strict deadlines ensuring any work is completed and be able to manage their time and workload to prioritise tasks.

  • Have previous experience in a busy Parts Department; in purchasing, returns handling, quality management or export.

  • Be able to work well in a team environment and understand the importance of supporting the department, on-site, with other tasks when needed.

  • Have a problem-solving nature with an eye for accuracy and detail.

  • Have a driving license and means to commute to Saxham.

    Hours of Work According to the business requirements (Minimum 37.5 hours per week). Due to the nature of the industry some extended hours and inclusion on a rota system for weekend cover will be needed during the spring and summer months.
