Full Job Description

This position is responsible for winning new national account customers for Shred-it in the UK. They will need to create a pipeline of large customer opportunities in this segment with a focus on Global or European companies where the decision maker is based in the UK.

Key Job Activities:

Focuses on new services sales opportunities self-generated/allocated by management. Grows new services revenue, while managing the entire sales cycle, including, but not limited to, prospecting, proposals, contracts, and new service implementations. Establishes, builds and manages strong client relationships by utilizing our security audit and consultative sales processes.

Provide input to corporate planning for targeted clients. Evaluates and defines the long-term potential of these clients, with corporate involvement, taking into consideration such key business elements such as the customer base, sales goals, required investments in assets and resources, return on investments, operations, communications, etc.

Collaborates with districts/regions/senior management/marketing to assist with the facilitation of new programs, campaigns and offerings, as required.

Provides regular, but no less than weekly, updates to SFDC and the departments sales funnel. Record and report all activity required by management.

Remain current with external conditions (clients, competitors, business trends, new business developments, service rates and practices) so as to optimize Shred-it in the marketplace.

Assists National Accounts Sales Manager with projects as required or requested.

Education equivalent to college degree, in business or marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience. Demonstrates the ability to work with minimum direction possessing strong account management skills.

Experience (EMEAA):

Ten or more years of direct and indirect sales experience with a focus on business development and/or emerging markets, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to work with minimum direction possessing strong account management skills.

Demonstrates sounds knowledge of computerized customer databases with proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, used in developing and implementing sales strategies for Corporate Account prospects. Additionally, demonstrates a wide range of proven sales techniques, consultative selling approach and possesses a sound knowledge of Stericycle applications of product/services; stays current on industry trends and financials.
