Full Job Description

Are you ready for a leadership role? We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic cross-sectional radiographer to lead, manage and coordinate the expanding MRI service across the Sherwood Forest Trust.

We are looking for a radiographer, used to working in a large department, enthusiastic with a mind to problem solving and operational management, who is able to demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills, with significant MRI experience at a band 7 level.

This is a new post to join our high achieving and award-winning team based at a CQC rated `outstanding` hospital. The successful candidate will be supported by and work collaboratively with an experienced Radiology Management team.

We currently have 1 MRI static scanneron the Kings Mill site. An exciting new build for 3 MRI scanners is planned to open in 2026. The Mansfield Community Diagnostic Centre at the Mansfield Community Hospital site is due to open in Summer 2026, this will include 1 outpatient MRI scanner. We have procured Philips Ambition X scanners for the new projects.

This post would benefit from previous experience of service redesign and transformation
