Full Job Description

As the job coach within the community, you will play a pivotal role in helping young individuals transition into the workforce. Your key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting young people in developing essential skills for the workplace.

· Building a professional network both within and outside the school to create employment opportunities.

· Identifying and addressing support needs, and implementing effective strategies for each student.

· Ensuring the safeguarding of students in all activities and placements, Castledon School is a Special School for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs from Year 1 - Year 14.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

    We are a School dedicated to empowering young people with SEN to reach and unlock their potential. We have been in the community for many years working with a host of organisations dedicated to providing realistic and challenging work experience, and we need an enthusiastic individual to join us on the Job Coach team.

    Actual Salary: £26,761 - £29,6131 per annum (FTE: £29,777 - £33,024)
    Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm
    Contract: 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 additional weeks)
