Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer for a permanent opportunity in Poole. As a valued member of our team, you will provide technical support on a range of software and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across various IT domains within our organization. This role involves on-site attendance to deliver user IT support (2nd and 3rd Line), assisting users with day-to-day queries, and actively participating in IT projects.,

  • Serve as the on-site first point of contact for IT hardware and software support.

  • Manage firewall configurations and ensure their effective operation.

  • Provide support for laptops, including Mac devices.

  • Administer and manage user accounts and MS Office 365 profiles.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues using systematic troubleshooting skills.

  • Perform daily system checks to maintain optimal performance.

  • Resolve complex problems and issues in a timely manner based on priorities.

  • Occasional on-site support and installations.

  • Create user guides and documentation.

  • Assist both on-site and remote users with their IT needs.

  • Monitor and maintain networks and hardware resources.

    Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.

  • Previous experience in supporting on-site hardware and software.

  • Firewall management expertise.

  • Familiarity with OneDrive, Egnyte, or similar platforms.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving IT issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.

  • Knowledge of Mac devices and support.

  • Experience with user account management and MS Office 365 profiles.

  • Ability to create user guides and documentation.

  • Understanding of network monitoring and hardware resource maintenance., Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
