Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UHNM's Information Services Department as a Informatics Business Advisor. This key post will form part of the senior leadership in Informatics reporting for the Clinical Divisions & Corporate Services.
The post holder will be at the forefront of business analysis & self service BI delivery across the Trust and implementation of the Information Strategy. This will include the roll out of our new reporting tools. The role also has responsibility for ensuring the Trust remains compliant with local and statutory reporting, providing assurance on the accuracy of national returns including compliance of data standards.

Main duties of the job
To act as the primary Informatics lead for Corporate Services & the Division. Taking full responsibility for Information & the interpretation of information within the Division & responsible for providing a sound information management to support services. The post holder will contribute as a member of the Information Services department to the development of an Informatics service that fulfils the needs of the users.
The post holder will have extensive knowledge of Information Standards to support health care activities within the NHS, clinical disparate systems & understand case mix & patient flows & operational processes to support divisional objectives.
