Full Job Description
Our Estates & Facilities team are looking for a Facilities Technician. You will be working a variety of shifts between 6am to 10pm. There may be occasional weekend work.
In this role, you will assist the rest of the team in providing a comprehensive service including maintenance, security and other site services in line with the Facilities Service Standards.
A large part of your role will be working on Maintenance and upkeep of the college facilities. You will assist with lighting, heating and water systems, including managing and carrying out Helpdesk jobs such as room set up and locking. You will get to know our campuses well, from getting in with the variety of animals we have, going to the Salon, to the labs.
To apply for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar type of role or environment, experience in handling the public, able to work unsupervised and strong ability in remaining calm, approachable and remaining personable. You will be provided with full training to carry out the role.
