Delivery Driver

Ennis and Brown is seeking a delivery driver to join its expanding team working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00. As a delivery driver part of a team of two, you will play a critical role in the customer journey, with opportunities to interact with customers and build relationships every day. Your role is more than just driving; it involves delivering exceptional service with a smile and is hands-on, physical, and diverse; one day you will be delivering to Manchester, and the next to Cornwall! You are an essential part of our customers' experience, delivering and installing tables and other furniture with precision, ensuring that you treat the furniture and their homes with the utmost care.

You will be responsible for delivering the final part of our customer journey by:

• Carefully loading the van with customer orders.


• Checking the van for roadworthiness and reporting any issues.


• Keeping the van clean and organised and ensuring it is stocked with bolts, felt pads, straps, and blankets.


• Treating products and deliveries as if they were your own.


• Delivering promptly within the customer's time slot.


• Calling the customer before arriving at their property if you are going to be early or late.


• Instructing customers on how to care for their furniture.


• Reporting any issues to the office team.


• Assisting with general jobs around the yard if not delivering, such as clearing cardboard and some light workshop duties.


• Working overtime when required, generally only on weekdays

• A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving license (full) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points, preferably with experience driving a van.


• Your own car to commute to work as we are rural and not served by public transport., Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)


• Driving: 2 years (required)
