Full Job Description

As a Commercial Sales Manager in our Finance and Commercial team, you'll be working closely with our Sales and Tendering team handling all commercial and financial topics throughout the whole sales/bid process and would be responsible for the preparation and negotiation of the commercial and financial terms and conditions with the Customer.,

  • Responsible for all financial and commercial activities during project acquisition such as contract analysis, cost and margin analysis, cashflow projection, securities, currency/hedging, defining risk and opportunities, Bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, compliance etc.

  • Support to design and implement the commercial offer strategy for each bid.

  • Define the Business Model based on business, customer and tax regulations.

  • Relationship management with external project partners and internal functions

  • Prepare, present & gain commercial sales/bid process approvals and respective quality gates

  • Participate in negotiation of commercial customer T&Cs and consortium contracts within the applicable guidelines

  • Ensure complete and timely handover to the project execution to ensure timely Order Booking and accurate Order Entry Calculation

  • Support optimization of sales/bid processes based on lessons learned

    Strong communicator and negotiator with internal and external partners

  • Experience of commercially leading external customer bids >500.000 EUR

  • Familiar with various model form of contracts (NEC, MF1,FIDIC)

  • Experience in analysing and handling risks (FX, inflation, supply chain, securities etc) and presenting these to Senior Management as part of the bid approval process

  • Previous experience of working within a financial/commercial team in a major project environment.

  • Passionate about personal and team ongoing development.

  • Experienced in / with international projects and intercultural teams.
