Full Job Description

To assist the Commercial Team as required to provide the delivery of timely, efficient and ethical Commercial activities to the AHUK business in accordance with Airbus commercial policies and current legislation and regulations. In particular to;

  • Generate invoices and credits notes.

  • Acquire feedback from delivery departments as required for contract execution and performance reports.

  • Generate reports as required for business or contract execution.

  • Generate offers and quotations as requested by the Commercial managers and Offers team

  • Assist the Offers team as required.

  • Assist with the upkeep of departmental databases and reporting systems.


  • Main responsibilities

    To assist Commercial Managers as required in the day to day management and administration of commercial contracts. In particular by;
  • Raising invoices and credits notes.

  • Drafting contract changes notices.

  • Drafting proposals and quotes.

  • Drafting contract review and reporting of KPIs, financial performance and on time / on quality reports.

  • Assist the Commercial Managers and Offers team as required in the the generation of Offers, Bids and Tenders and drafting of tender responses and documents.

  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the commercial contracts registers.

  • Assist in the upkeep of the contract management tools.

  • Assist in the drafting of Business plans, OP forecasts and business reports as required.

  • Bookings and Turnover vs OP targets.

  • Gross Margin, Operational Margin and EBIT.

  • OPEX and Structural Cost performance to target.

  • On time, on quality and on cost delivery of aircraft and services.

  • Cash profile of contract.

  • Customer Satisfaction Index., Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.

  • Applicants must meet any/all requirements of Export Compliance Regulations.

    Interest in commercial business practices.

  • Ability to generate clear concise reports an advantage.

  • Confident with IT and have a knowledge of:

  • Google suite (Sheets, Docs and Slides), MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce an advantage


  • Desirable
  • Previous Experience in a commercial role preferable with an engineering or technology company.

  • Familiarity with UK MoD commercial process desirable., Enjoys working as part of a team., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
