Full Job Description

The role on offer is a trainee/entry level position.

Although it might be considered an apprenticeship, the role is not formally part of the UK government apprenticeship program.

It will include a mixture of both on-the-job learning as part of a team & formal study.

In addition to acquiring hands-on skills, the formal study will lead to exams & certifications such as the following:

- Azure Fundamentals

- Azure Data Fundamentals

- AWS Cloud Practitioner

Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch. This is very much dictated by the nature of our client engagements.

There is limited scope for home/remote working as this is a trainee role. Working closely as part of a team with your colleagues in the office is critical for knowledge transfer.

The minimum requirement is an 'A' level (or equivalent) in computing, maths or physics.

You must be willing to self-study as preparation for professional exams & certifications.

Excellent written & verbal communication are required. This includes Teams & Zoom video meetings during which the camera will be mostly expected to be on.

We spend a lot of time using MS Office products such as Outlook, Word & Excel.

Any prior experience with Linux, Python, Java, .net or SQL is beneficial but not essential. If you can demonstrate enough chops in technical skills such as these we may even forego the minimum education requirement., A laptop with MS Office and all other required software will be provided.,
