Full Job Description

  • Year End, Quarterly and Monthly Accounts

  • VAT Returns

  • Other accounting related tasks


    • You will be responsible for timely chasing in client's paperwork and checking it on arrival for missing information.

    You will also support our administration staff as required.

    On completion the apprentice will receive AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Level 3) qualification., Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Number skills, Team working, Initiative, Good written communication, Good verbal communication, Strong IT skills, Can work accurately, Methodical, Able to meet deadlines, Articulate and Professional, Confident in call handling, Polite, friendly and welcoming, Good interpersonal skills, Reliable, Flexible, Excellent timekeeping, Keen and enthusiastic, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A
  • -C or 9-4) Essential

    • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A
  • -C or 9-4) Essential, Ideally, you will have a good standard of education and have a minimum of 5 GCSE A - C or 9 - 4 including Maths and English or equivalent. At Freeman Baker onsite parking is available and they are within walking distance from the centre of Crewkerne. You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. In some cases, you may be required to have a telephone interview with Yeovil College prior to your application being passed on. If a suitable candidate is found prior to the advertised closing date, it may close earlier so please apply early to avoid disappointment.
