Full Job Description

Ward Jackson are seeking to appoint a qualified level 3 childcare professional to work 1:1 with a child with SEN and an EHC plan next from September 2024 in EY/KS1. The chosen candidate will have experience of working within an education setting. You will work closely with the KS1/EY team to support the needs identified on the plan and deliver interventions as directed by the class teacher and SEDNCo.

  • Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for pupils, specifically those with Special Educational Needs


  • Be nurturing and supportive with high expectations


  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written


  • Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team


  • Have good behaviour management strategies


  • Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom and support our Christian ethos and core values.
